- Co-Chair, Transfer Single Articulation Pathway leadership team (2012-2016), Indiana Commission for Higher Education. Purdue University representative for special education. Development of articulating curricular elements allowing for ease of transition for students between 2-year and 4-year programs.
- Member, Statewide General Education Transfer Core Taskforce leadership team, Indiana Commission for Higher Education. Responsible for working with task force members to design and implement a statewide core curriculum.
- Co-Chair, Lumina Foundation Tuning Project, Indiana Commission for Higher Education (2009-11). Responsible for leading state 2- and 4-year institutions in identifying core learning outcomes for teacher education.

- Chair, Core Curriculum Committee (2011-2012) – led interdisciplinary faculty team in the design and implementation of Purdue University’s first Undergraduate Outcomes-based Core Curriculum. Responsible for communicating purpose and gathering campus-wide feedback on the draft plan, presenting final proposal to the faculty Senate, and obtaining final approval; communicating with the members of the Board of Trustees, campus deans, and students.
